Everybody Works! Everybody Wins!
The premier conference in Florida
on employment options for people with disabilities will be back
and will be bigger and better than ever! The conference will be
held at: The Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando FL.

As part of Florida’s observance of Disability
Employment Awareness Month in October, APD joined Florida VR and
the Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI) in presenting the Florida
Exceptional Employer Awards. The event recognized businesses from
across the state that are committed to hiring people with disabilities.
Governor Crist also took the opportunity to present APD customer
and Area 2 employee Katie Bowman with the Supported Employee of
the Year award on behalf of the FLAPSE.
